Collaborative Crowdsourcing to Define NJ Digital Equity Gap | July 14, 2022

Description: Following on our robust discussion with Frank Gaffney at the New Jersey (NJ) Board of Public Utilities (BPU) about the development of the NJ Broadband Task Force to administer Federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Digital Equity Act (BEAD/DEA) funds, DIPNJ needs to help define what the digital equity gap looks like in NJ, highlight specific interventions/strategies that have been successful, and develop a priority list of future initiatives that can help lead to full, sustainable digital inclusion.

To do this, we need to hear from organizations committed to digital inclusion–libraries, housing authorities, education and training providers, rural organizations and others–to bring their perspectives to inform the discussion.

This will be a collaborative/crowdsourcing type event, first using a google Jamboard to share important questions, and will then use Padlet to share relevant resources.
